On Saturday, MSF doctor Abu Abed Mughaiseeb delivered an address to a packed crowd during the Message of Peace at All Together Now 2026. On stage, he made an urgent appeal for the release of all medical staff detained by Israel, including Dr Abu Safiya and our MSF colleague Dr Obeid.
As civilian lives continue to be disregarded, the word 'ceasefire' has lost all meaning.
MSF staff in Gaza have not been spared the violence. Our colleagues have been shot in their tents, had family members killed, fled their homes in panic or lost them to airstrikes.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, more than 3,500 people have been injured in Gaza since 11 October. In June 2026, 121 people were killed, making it the deadliest month of the year so far.

🔴 Since two earthquakes hit Venezuela on 24 June, MSF teams have been supporting healthcare facilities with donations of medical supplies. As one of the only international aid organizations present in the first hours after the disaster, MSF was able to fill critical supply gaps in emergency stocks.

Last night an earthquake that struck Venezuela was registered with a magnitude of 7.2, with a second quake of 7.5 magnitude striking less than a minute later. According to local authorities, there are already over 164 confirmed dead and over 970 injured.
