Republicans break the economy, Democrats fix the economy. But you misunderstand progressives; Democrats get jobs and GDP up, which is good. But if you're wondering why so many independents thought the economy was bad under Biden, it's because the economy wasn't good *for most people.* 1/2
I see lots of folks saying "we can't vote ourselves out of this." Listen; there is a big difference between a tilted election and a rigged election. They wouldn't be fighting so hard to tilt it in their favor if the outcome were assured. Regardless of the state of things, your vote can only help.

In point of fact, the TX and FL maps (which do indeed rely on 2024 data) could potentially backfire. If there is a swing of +20% to Dems in either state, they may actually experience a net loss of Republican seats from the redistricting.

The proposed map is ambitious; it relies on a 2024-like electorate. If it passes, Republicans could expect only a small gain if there is more than a 10% swing, and could potentially see a net loss if there is more than a 20% swing.
Between the theft of innocence and the theft of money, I'm going to say the theft of innocence is worse. Both crimes, both bad, one significantly more egregious than the other.

It's not necessarily a bad day, when you haven't crashed into the ground. But when the ground is conspicuously missing, one can't help but suspect that bad days are approaching.
