He looks fantastic! Leo is so averse to grooming that the vet gave him drugs, and I have to shave him down when he can't fight back. It's a process. His previous owner was elderly and couldn't take care of him.

I don't post pictures of my grandson, but I wish I could! The look of utter concentration on his face as he peruses his @readersdigest.bsky.social magazine is fantastic. Children who are exposed to a lot of books LOVE TO READ!
Just read a new #MGLit medieval history book that I probably won't purchase. It did make me miss the very specific type of 8th grade boy who loved Rosemary Sutcliffe, Lloyd Alexander, T.H. White, and Howard Pyle. Haven't seen such a creature in a good fifteen years.
What I would have given for a #MGLit book about a 1970s girl who traveled back in time and met her mom in the 1950s! Looking forward to Young's Roaring Brook Press ONE MORE TIME. (But now I have the Daft Punk song stuck in my brain.)

Coslett's @tenspeedpress.bsky.social KID POTATO is a perfect "bridge" notebook novel for #MGLit readers who aren't quite ready to tackle Costner's MY LIFE AS A POTATO or a goofy choice for younger ones.

I've been at my job long enough that I've had Grandstudents, but now books I purchased when they first came out are having anniversary editions published! LOVE Mull's Shadow Mountain FABLEHAVEN, and the new edition is gorgeous!
Endlessly fascinated by how absolutely wrong the Goodreads recommendations are. Loved both Barnes' THE FIXER and @spencerwrites THIS COULD ALL GO BAD, but don't think they're the same at all. The full list is even more confusing!
