Today is Children of Time discussion day and I have QUESTIONS. Also, I would like to formally apologize to my past self for not expecting to have feelings about a spider 🕷️

Color palette studies for an upcoming children's book. It's slowly starting to feel like a real place. 🎨☀️
One of the oddest parts of illustrating children’s books is falling in love with words you can’t share just yet
Happy 5th anniversary, #KidLitArtPostcard day! This year's theme is you as a child, so I drew myself as the kid who rushed to watch Dragon Ball, filled notebooks with doodles, and dreamed of adventures. Here's my postcard for this year's exchange. 🐉 www.muakata.com hola@muakata.com

✨ Opening 5 slots for cozy storybook illustrations RPG characters, OCs, small scenes... or you inside your favorite story DM if you want one 🧡
Some books you read. Some books read you back. The Neverending Story starts cozy and then, oops, desire, identity, losing yourself?? Cool cool cool Beautiful. Kinda cruel. Stuck in my head now.
Annihilation is short, but it gets under your skin starts controlled, clinical, naming things like that could hold them still It can’t The questions twist, pull you forward not answers... just the need to follow
Hi! I’m Nathasha 🌿 I make gentle illustrations about animals, soft fantasy, and quiet places I’m available for picture books + children’s editorial work ✨ #PortfolioDay #Kidlitart 🧡hola@muakata.com
This month in our book club, we’re reading Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer Very excited (and slightly scared) for this one
Just finished Guards! Guards! Came for funny dragon chaos, stayed for Sam Vimes ruining my life Absurd, hilarious, and somehow emotional??
Hello! I’m Nathasha 🌿 happy world autism acceptance day and #kidlitartpostcard day! I’m an autistic illustrator drawing soft fantasy, animals, and small, quiet worlds I’m currently looking for work in picture books + children’s editorial ✨ I just want to make gentle things for kids 🤍 #kidlitart
Small update: The new kitten has taken over my studio All future art will be created by her I am now just management (April fools… or is it)
Just finished Poppy by Avi last night 🌙 Simple story, but so powerful in the quietest way. A tiny mouse with huge themes: courage, fear, and tough choices. I love how much it opens up for conversation with my kid 🧡
Book club things ✨ The poll for the next read is up on Discord If you want to join, you absolutely can discord.gg/qu6qwv6HR8
Read The Tombs of Atuan in a day and ???? Le Guin doing her thing again: dark tunnels, identity crisis, weird religion, and then… tiny bits of hope It’s a small book, but it hits HARD. Eerie but soft. Cute as hell but emotionally illegal Tenar I love you 🥺
Just finished Ship of Destiny Great ending, terrible for my emotional stability ships, dragons, trauma ⭐ 4.25/5
Finished The Spear Cuts Through Water Beautiful, weird, slightly cruel (affectionate) Satoshi Kon x Ghibli, but someone was in a mean mood Did I enjoy it? unclear will I stop thinking about it? no 3.75/5⭐
Planned my week The main objective is: survive It’s holy week so this feels realistic
Survived March and its 20 different things happening at once Barely... But still
