I’ve been digging through my old lead pile and found this guy. Knocked together in the 90’s back when Big Hats were a current release. Also poster from a GW open day. Bloodthirster body, manticore wings, Nagash staff and Lamassu head. Nghhh don’t need another project right now. Resist.

For a while I’ve wanted to start another project alongside my Runequest stuff. Choices Citadel AD&D, Kislev or Chaos and I’ve plumped for Slaanesh flavoured chaos. I have all the Slaanesh Slaves to Darkness stuff. I want to do this as well as rather than instead of, we’ll see how it goes!

Seeing this and the Tank Girl tank makes me want to knock out one of these silly buggers as part of a Gaslands’esque Whacky Races game.
I was tempted to do a Sam Neill in Mouth of Madness and cover him in crosses. Pic showing Humakt enjoying watching his followers go nuts during the Hero Wars.
Painting time has been slow with the recent heat death of the universe but I did find time to knock out another Humakti. Giving them functional, choppy swords. Swap to a 2 hander and added hilt to the empty scabbard. Also, grimdark skull. She’s Boromira from @fenrisgames.com Sistership of the Rings.

I love staff slings. These Bronze Age goblins are getting a hopefully pretty simple conversion job once I get around to the trollkin.
Every time I do a duck I think “This time I’ll do a nice fancy plumage” and then every time end up with Donald Duck white with yellow beak n flippers. A/Im lazy B/I think it looks good. Also changed to a slightly longer sword and some feathers on the pommel. @fenrisgames.com duck gubbinz.

Decided on a duck as a quick mini in between trolls. Another follower of Humakt the Glorantha death god so lots of grey, black and dark blue again. Giving him a battered coffin lid shield for an extra grimdark feel. Humakti are miserable sods. Simple head swap, head and body from @fenrisgames.com
Whew these trolls do take a while to paint. She’s a conversion of one of my fave @fenrisgames.com great orcs with head from one of the new trolls and some adventuring gear added. She’s one of the weirdo Sazdorf Humakti trolls from RQ Glorantha. 2 down, loads still to go! Small mini next tho.
