Bostonians were outraged that British soldiers-their fellow countrymen-would be called upon to occupy their town and enforce order. To the insult and horror of the townspeople, many troops were housed initially in the unoccupied Representatives Chamber of the Old State House.
James Otis, Jr. urged that business in the building be suspended "as the stench occasioned by the troops in the Representatives Chamber, may prove infectious...."

Carved my first pumpkin ever yesterday, I’m very proud of how it came out given my lack artistic, anything, in me. Mine is the One Piece one, obviously

3 carved pumpkins in frame. Leftmost, a cat, moon and bat are carved. Middle pumpkin is carved with Straw Hat’s Jolly Roger, third one is a weird face with hearts and toothpicks for teeth.
