It is Rosie’s 8th birthday. I’m just her dog sitter/uncle, but I do get to spend a lot of time with her. She’s the sweetest girl ever, and she’s adjusted super well to a new environment over the last week or so. I’m so proud of her.
I didn’t really plan on walking nearly six miles from my hotel to the Black Rocks, but it really was a good time. I’d have liked it more if I brought my bicycle.
Drove from home, to Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, then all the way from Chicago to north of Milwaukee on the Lake Michigan Circle, and it was incredible. Now I’m in Manitowoc, and just had some excellent food at a dive bar I probably wouldn’t have gone to if I wasn’t starving.
This dog is very well behaved but he isn’t giving me a single second of personal space and his breath is rancid. Ain’t he cute tho?

Had this for lunch on Saturday. It tasted better than it looks. The cornbread was the best I’ve had this far north.
I miss exactly one mutual from the old site, and it’s a guy who used to walk around the city I used to cover documenting all of the tiny bottles of Fireball on the roadside.

I only remembered the date but now that I think about it, Sydal/Hager and Kofi/Carlito were both great matches. My friend’s dad took us. Not listed here, but they had Sheamus pre debut cut a promo.
In my many years dog sitting Rosie, she has never had the zoomies until tonight. Not even as a puppy.
Yuffie and Tifa are on a billboard outside Coal City and I’m not sure why.
