I think I'll start my weekend in early 1960s SF and Marin County, visit Mt. Tam, Ocean Beach, the Cliff House, then drive down the 101 and spend time in Malibu before it became crowded; I'd buy a beach house.

Warrior Cali looking out over, what is apparently, the single largest breeding ground of spiders in No. Amer. She's on bug duty, but keeps falling asleep. She was incredibly suspicious of the new place for the first 4 days and would barely eat. Thankfully she began feeling more at home yesterday.
Holy crap! No, these are small to medium black spiders😳 Closest thing I found online, except the ones we have are a wee bit bigger.
I got my mom a lightweight chair to get from the car to the new apt. (a 40 yard walk for her is too much). Cali immediately claimed it, but got a bit bored reading the white tag😂
