Vikemon remains Steel/Ice. I'm not gonna lie, Vikemon doesn't really feel like a mega, he reads like an Ultimate at most, idk. Hououmon is Flying/Fire, and by contrast, THIS guy looks Mega. Also very funny that there's a Hououmon and a pokemon named Ho-Oh

What the fuck do I do with you. Dude has like four types he could reasonably be, this isn't fair. I think what I'll do is make him Steel/Fighting with Flash Fire as an ability, that's my compromise.

Zudomon after great deliberation is Ice/Steel, and Garudamon is still Flying/Fire

I didn't forget Plotmon; it makes sense in context, but Tailmon skipping the Rookie stage and starting from Champion kinda makes listing them all annoying. Plotmon is Normal/Fairy

Magna Angemon I feel like should still be Fairy/Fighting but I also think an argument could be made for Fairy/Steel

Back to some easy ones, my homie Metal Greymon is Steel/Fire, WereGarurumon is Fighting/Ice, Atlas Kabuterimon (I'm not calling it Atlur Kabuterimon) is still Bug/Electric,Lilymon is Grass/Fairy

So there's no obvious equivalent to Holy, obviously, but I think Fighting is sort of intended to be something of a "heroic" type, with it thwarting Dark, the Brave personality getting you Machop in Mystery Dungeon, and the move Sacred Blade being Fighting. The Angels are Fighting/Fairy

Greymon is the hardest mf so far because what the hell do I do with this thing. The fool's trap would be to give him Dragon, but no, Dragon's gotta be kinda special, yknow? Dragon is a vibe, and Greymon doesn't fit it. I'm gonna make a hail-mary and say he's Rock/Fire because of his big dumb helmet

More super easy ones, Birdramon is Fire/Flying, Ikkakumon is Water/Ice, Kabuterimon is Bug/Electric, Togemon is Grass/Fighting (she is literally a cactus with boxing gloves)

Garurumon looked hard to categorize at first but looking at his attacks he's def Ice, and I think his Reference Book description talking about his "fur as hard as Mithril" that can "cut anything that touches it to pieces", I feel very comfortable giving him Steel, too. Steel/Ice

Gabumon is the hardest one to categorize because he doesn't have any traits that point to any Pokemon type, and his canon lines don't really help. I'm gonna say Normal as a result of that, for now. Tailmon, conversely, was super easy, Fairy/Fighting

Palmon is Grass, I debated if she'd be Grass/Poison but I think it makes more sense for her to just be Grass. Patamon was tricky because I think its line is predominantly Holy, which doesn't translate cleanly to Pokemon types. For now he's Fairy or Fairy/Flying

Easiest ones out of the way first: Agumon, as stated earlier, is Normal/Fire; Gomamon is Water, for reasons I think should be obvious; Piyomon is Flying/Fire; Tentomon is Bug/Electric

Gabumon is a little freak who defies categorization so he actually ends up just Normal. Garurumon, on the other hand, is probably Steel? I think some source or another says his fur is hard like metal

I feel like I'd have some weird takes because if you ask me, Agumon would be Normal/Fire, because he's still kinda just a baby and all the babies are Normal
