Unless one of the people in the screenshot was your alt, this is the first time he posted you. You tagged him. You don’t get to antagonistically tag a big account and then complain about the resultant attention. Or I mean you do get to but we also get to point and say “lol”
Being just hours away from my book deadline has me getting extra real about some shit in this draft
Screenshotting instead of quoting here because I’m not trying to start shit but… this just does not match my life experience at all and sometimes I feel like I’m from a different planet. It has been so easy at every stage of life to find guys to hang out with who aren’t openly despicable around me
The last two paragraphs of that article are somehow dumber than the email. Feels very much LLM written except for the exceedingly bizarre button of “Surprising it is.”
About 60% through Iain M. Banks’ The Player of Games and this shit rules. Philosophical sci-fi about games as political processes, molding their players, reflecting/reproducing the ideologies of the societies that birthed them. Chewy, delicious ideas, true and useful. Eager to see where it lands.
This is insane to me. They got paid in money. They got paid a normal amount of money that they agreed to be paid. That art director with basically no credits or experience got paid more per day on that film than I’ve ever made in a day doing anything. What are we doing here.
“Verbal littering” is a phrase that could only come from a diseased mind
Reply to a post about “ozempic face” kinda giving the game away. “I don’t judge people for exercising bodily autonomy unless I can construct an excuse to do so that makes me feel righteous. Then I go nuts”
This is her using sarcasm to show how stupid that “torture porn” post she quoted was
Yo this book is insane? It’s just constantly daring me to form a coherent opinion about it
Incredible to see someone sincerely attempt the “just following orders” defense in 2026 as if it’s just common sense. To then be informed of the historical context of that particular idea, react like you’ve legitimately never heard of it, and loudly decide it doesn’t matter? Baby that’s art to me.
My 10 favorite films, off the top of my head: Mulholland Drive Kiss Kiss Bang Bang The Sadness I Saw the TV Glow Straight Up Design for Living Drowning by Numbers Tampopo Dellamorte Dellamore Silent Night Deadly Night
There’s a kinship between Drowning by Numbers, The Company of Wolves, and Joseph Cornell that I don’t know how to explain or what to do with. A certain flavor of fragile world made up meticulously of memory and dream.
Trump can promise to nuke Iran and the IDF can openly riot about their right to rape people but I have to be coy if I want to say the only truth that matters about any of these parasites. I wrote this today in a different context but it fits here, everywhere.
Yeah I just think right now does actually look worse. More diverse I’ll give you for sure, I was taking issue with the “smarter” part of your claim
If you know me I think it’s hard to be too surprised by my taste but Goon might be a bit of a curveball (curve… puck?)
Some of it is folks who fear that an effort to sanitize him risks sanitizing him.
King of the shitlibs. Here is his thumbs-up to the silencing of anti-genocide protest. There is no progressive principle he won’t sell out under pressure because he doesn’t actually hold any.
