In early 2012, there was an irruption of snowy owls in Washington State. This exquisite bird was 1 of 5 I saw hanging out among the driftwood and seagrass on the beach in Ocean Shores. I'd rank it as being in the top three birding days ever. #BirdOfTheDay #OpenBeak, any 🪶 with its beak open.
