Chris, I know you like to poke fun at those of us who say we live in a "banana belt," but this is 2 days worth of rain for us west of Berthoud. Our daughter, who lives 5 mi southeast of us, has flooded corrals. Former farmer neighbor said he wished they had farmed east of Berthoud. We get missed.

We were shocked to see a small grass fire less than a quarter of a mile from our house yesterday. Fortunately we are fairly close to a rural Berthoud fire station & they knocked it down quickly before it spread across a pasture with several horses. It is so dry. #Grassfire #Colorado #NoFireworks
