Just passed a little grey haired lady out for an AM walk, talking on speaker phone w/a friend. Friend: when was your birthday? Lady: it’s Saturday, 7/11. I get a free slurpee!! Wished her a happy birthday as I passed. Sweet start to my day!

On top of end of the semester, it’s themed spirit week at B’s school. Today is Creative Sweater Showdown and B decided we should make our own. My knitting fell a bit behind, but B was so pleased with our creation.
We didn’t plan it, but ended up having a very Baltimore holiday experience- train garden, Mt. Vernon monument, Christmas Village, and harbor boat parade! A very fun and festive day!
