“I'm a pessimist because of intelligence, but an optimist because of will."
Past month, I have been on a roll with my book choices. Some of the amazing books that I have read.
Loved this novel. Completely not what I expected but I think that made this even more enjoyable. This works well, the less you know about it. I found it exhilarating, unpredictable and totally engrossing. Highly recommend this. And the cover looks so good #read
This was such a great read. This author is a genius and have loved everything that I have read by him. It’s so clever and highly entertaining.
This is an intellectual meditation on friendship and grief, sparked by a narrator who must fake-record the final interview of his dying mentor. The novel serves as a poetic warning about how modern technology mediates and distorts the genuine emotional truth of our most intimate human experiences.
Turkey is surreal. The history is deep and ancient here. Had dinner last night on a rooftop overlooking Selcuk. Spent the day in the ancient city of Ephesus, walked through the ancient streets, the gates of Hercules, the library of Celsus, the terrace houses. It was wild to walk on ancient marble.
I have really enjoyed returning to this world that Patrick Ness has created. This has been quite the adventure and I am very much looking forward to the next book.
This had me feeling all the feels. Beautifully written, I laughed and it was sad and heart warming and heart breaking. Highly recommend.

My take away from this is home is not merely a physical location or a fixed point in history, but a continuous process of creation and reclamation that we carry within ourselves and pass down through our stories and our children. Beautifully written memoir. #read highly recommend
The big takeaway from this is that while the universe is indifferent and life has no inherent meaning, this realisation is actually the key to true freedom. Instead of being crushed by the futility of existence, Camus suggests we should live in "revolt"—embracing the struggle…. #read
Circular Motion is a high-concept nerdfest that unfortunately gets a bit too tangled in its own orbits. While Alex Foster’s premise—the Earth’s rotation accelerating due to instant travel—is objectively cool and backed by physics I couldn’t understand, This #read didn’t quite do it for me.
