So I'm sort of on a filled pasta thing right now. Butternut & ricotta last week, spinach & ricotta this week. Maybe I'm on a ricotta thing.

Some filled pasta shapes that are clearly home made because they are the shape of boiled sweets in cellophane wrappers. They are dusted with flour and filled with green stuff.

Yeah, this is absolutely incredible. It is what chocolate is supposed to taste like, and thanks to industrialisation it has almost been lost.

About a hundred years ago @playfulanywhere.bsky.social put on a jelly party where there was a competetive jelly element, and this one won a small prize. The maker was a nurse, which made me laugh. I got to interview Bompas & Parr as a result.

Went for a walk. Saw a slow worm and was very excited because I have never seen a snake (yes, I know it isn't a true snake) in the wild before, and then an hour later saw an adder which absolutely made my day.
