Am Sonntag Radtour nach Hildesheim. Auf der Route: das Schindler-Denkmal, nicht weit vom Haus, wo er zuletzt wohnte. Im April wurde die Nase abgeschlagen. Wer noch im Tod von Rechtsextremen verfolgt wird, muss was richtig gemacht haben. Angriff von Rechts ehrt. www.google.com/maps/place/O...
Extremely difficult to snap through the eyepiece of the microscope using the phone's camera. I will need to invest into a proper microscope camera. Anyway, the blob in the green bubble is a Pourriotia werneckii rotifer. It causes its algal host (Vaucheria) to form a gall which it inhabits.
Wieder mal ein schöner Fund in einem öffentlichen Bücherschrank (Hannover Linden): Zadie Smith, Betrachtungen - Corona-Essays (von 2020), Übersetzt von Tanja Handels, Edition 5plus (Kiepenheuer & Witsch), Nr. 310 von 2450 nummerierten Exemplaren dieser limitierten Ausgabe.
What a silly nonsense indeed. The hardcover book I am just reading. Neither heavy nor awkward (and it was not expensive, I got it for free from a public bookcase). Hardcovers are more durable, so I prefer them (this one is from 1995, in top condition).
Just some examples. Some parts of this mountain ridge are a squeezed part of another part. This picture is fake.
We are already watching. Some live comments would be great to understand where this is and what is the goal of this dive.
Statistik über Messerfunde finde ich da nicht (und auch keine nach deinem Kriterium für "autochthone" Österreicher). Österreichische Staatsangehörige scheinen bezüglich Gewaltdelikten aber gefährlicher zu sein als Nicht-Staatsangehörige.
My great-grandparents Emil B. Keller and Gabriele Keller (born Hünlich), with their bikes, ca. 1897, Wurzen, Saxony. The bikes had carbide lamps. The whip was used to ward off dogs and was ridiculed by people in town but feared by the dogs that barked at every bicycle. @coolbikeart1.bsky.social

Gestern einen Tag in Köln Ehrenfeld verbracht. Könnte wirklich einige Tage Urlaub auf der Venloer Straße verbringen. Chillen & schwitzen im Neptun-Bad, die vielfältigen kulturellen und kulinarischen Angebote auf der Venloer Straße genießen. Vielfältigen Leute aus vielen Ländern, einfach schön hier.
Gestern beim EP Release Konzert meiner Tochter Nange im Motoki in Köln-Ehrenfeld gewesen. Wow! Sehr cooler Jazz und Rap. Ein fantastischer Abend! Das Vorprogramm bestritt Omar Jatta (mit Nange am Bass und an der Kora). Info, wo die Musik veröffentlicht wird, folgt noch.

Die Prioritäten sind auch hier zu sehen. Am 15.01. in Hannover. Der Schnee war von den Auto-Fahrbahnen auf die Radwege geräumt worden! Das hier nur ein Beispiel von mehreren, an denen ich vorbeigekommen bin. Tage nach dem Schneefall. Räumfahrzeuge, um das wegzumachen hätte es da genug gegeben.
Nice dive, thank you. What is this device? At one point, we saw a glass squid swimming into it (or being sucked?). What happened to it? Did it come out again at the bottom? Or was the squid we saw then another one? Perhaps at one point you could explain this in a livestream on deck?

A silver brooch (front side) by Kobi Bosshard (sorry Kobi for misspelling your name in the main post). He is using accidental irregularity in some of his work, which was a main topic of our conversation (also a topic in some weaving and weave-felt work of my sister).
March 6th 2025, walk through the incredible shist landscape in the Dunedin area after visiting goldsmith Kobi Bossard who lives nearby, somebody who I immediately had a close contact with. Talked with him about irregularity in art. We found out we both admire Swiss sculptor Hans Josephson.
No. 11 in a series on #sculpture and #publicart “Yellow Wave”. Fiber Glass (GRP). I couldn't find out yet who created it. Probably from the 1970s. There once was an art school in the building behind it, so perhaps it was created in a class. Second picture before restoration. 52°23'32.4"N 9°41'43.8"E
Nr. 10 in a series on #sculpture and #publicart “Stahl 68” by Erich Hauser. Exhibited at Documenta 1968, it stood for decades in front of the Linden power station. Dismantled due to construction work, it was restored and finally reinstalled at this new location in Nov. 2021. 52°20'38.8"N 9°49'46.1"E
