Sunset while crossing the West Seattle Bridge on our way home tonight. (Don't worry, I wasn't driving!) #WestSeattle #PortOfSeattle
A photo taken by my kid around 10 p.m. from their window. Likely Venus, right?
I bought this CA-53W in 2015. After 11 years, I finally set the correct time and date on this thing (image is from before I fixed it). Now I can wear it! 😜 As a kid I always wanted a calculator watch! It must've been a CA-50 around 1980 or so, when I was 10.
Sky view yesterday. I've been taking short breaks lately to look up and breathe.
For seniors in King County, one more day to apply for the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (e-Benefit card valued at $80). #Seattle #KingCounty #WashingtonState Link to apply: www.agingkingcounty.org/what-we-do/h...
We have fuki growing on the side of our home, but we didn't plant it. My mom did plant a sansho tree though and it's grown so much!
Mornin' (I'm just going to sleep, actually) 😜https://live.staticflickr.com/4078/4801446328_f9e5f602e8.jpg
A visit to Emma Schmitz Memorial Overlook today. Phoenix-shaped cloud (1st photo) and Olympic Mountains in background (2nd photo). #WestSeattle
The first rhubarb stalk coming up after I transferred it last autumn. Another plant from the garden at my old house.
Tonight I took a photo of our sansho tree. The young leaves are used as a garnish, which I enjoy with unadon (unagi on rice).
Before my dad died, he gave me his "pocket rock" which he put in his pocket for 30 years. He even wrote a poem about it! I think it helped him feel calm when he needed it.
Taking a break from sharing posts about a general strike to show the bleeding heart I've moved around with me for the past 15 years.
Video my kid just took of what must be Jupiter. 8:30 p.m. (PDT) in Seattle.
Today’s been a day of conflicting clocks and fatigue. #Caregiver #Non24 #DSPD
