I drew heavy inspiration from vintage 1960s Egyptian movie posters and the iconic, crafty actors of that Golden Age cinema era for this art, similar to another Egyptian card I did earlier. It's one of the biggest art I've done, with 35 layers and 11 different overlay effects. #Indiegame #ALoM

My next Egyptian muse is going to be yet another Egyptian actor: the iconic Rushdy Abaza. Other than having an insane record acting appearence in over 150 movies, he was also known as the "the Don Juan of Egyptian cinema". Sadly like many actors of that generation, he was quite problematic.

Weird accomplishment: I'm responsible for some of the very few editions of Arabic physical packaging for Blizzard games.

Three sealed physical copies of the Overwatch Legendary Edition video game for the Nintendo Switch with both English and Arabic text and the 3 different age ratings for the Arabic world. My partner's only cousin (known as Kabrit or the word matchstick in Arabic) is an accomplished graffiti artist that started in the streets of Beirut, evading the cops, and now does massive work all across Europe since he moved to France.

Palestinian game developer Rasheed Abueideh came up against a similar hurdle-"too risky"-when financing Dreams on a Pillow, which tells the story of Palestinians displaced during the Arab-Israeli war.

Surprising tbh. Sounds like the kind of game the EU would invest 20 million euros into for a return of a max playercount of 17 people that play no further in than 30% of the game.

Don't mind me, dumping some sceneries that inspired me to do our next illustration... It's crazy how much Occitanie looks like the Sham region (or Za'atar Union as we call it in the game). #Indiegame on the field I guess?

So you right click the layer, go to layer style, then head down to the pattern overlay. If you're on the latest Krita version, you should have the Krita 4 Default Ressource Bundle which includes lots of these patterns. Play around with opacity and scale especially as you see fit.

In today's episode of Pokemon TCG Pocket god packs

Pack opening in Pokemon TCG Pocket where the first card is a Pokémon trading card titled Mega Diancie ex. The card is displayed at a slight angle against a light blue background. Several other card edges are stacked behind it to indicate a digital pack. It is a Basic Pokémon with 170 HP and is a Psychic type. The card features full-art holographic artwork of Mega Diancie surrounded by rainbow flares and sparkling effects. The primary attack is Brilliant Storm. You have no idea how good this Hiyashi Tantanmen is (Chilled Spicy Ramen). Tomorrow might try a fun take on the quiche lorraine but with sausages.

So much love to the Bungie team for their last hurrah update for Destiny 2. I've had a blast in the Pantheon, but also all the other lore filled quests and stories. Now to tackle my final Triumph seal (Immortal) to honor this 12 year run.

The proper Mediterranean heat arrived where we live, and ever since my partner is working full time in a restaurant, I've taken over the home kitchen in full and experimenting with the summer versions of iconic asian inspired dishes and ramens. Today I went with the kid's favorite: Onigiris.

Artists, Quote with your yellow art! In my past, I did a fine art major with a specialty in oil painting, and this is as yellow as it can be in my books (I'm partially color blinded).
