"functionally invisible on Itch" isn't *quite* fair. Below is a screencap. Itch IS the single largest contributor, buuuuut that's via direct links (like the one in the post above), on discords, and most notably through "My Feed". When people add it to a collection, their followers see that.

It has been approximately 24 hours since 'Hey, Moon Eyes' Released! The vn isn't indexed yet, so it won't appear in itch searches or via related tags / new / trending/ etc. My goal for the first day was 50 downloads, and it has been surpassed by 50%. Its not much, but I am proud anyway.
