I woke up this morning to the sunrise rising over misty fields whilst it’s not quite autumn there are hints from the end of summer. No doubt within a few days and another heat wave will come along but for now it is cooler. #gardening #sunrise 🌱

Taken a couple of weeks back before all my plants dried to a crisp the flower spikes on New Zealand Flax plants are spectacular and the bees love them. #gardening 🌱

It’s a sign of how extreme the weather has been in the UK this summer. We are at the beginning of August and the leaves on the Robinia tree in my front garden have turned autumnal yellow overnight. 🌱 #Gardening #Heatwave

I was in East Sheen today wandering around and spotted this glorious display of flowers covering a fore escape or side entrance to a flat above one of the shops on the high street. It just shows you can garden anywhere. 🌱 #gardening

Climbing rose on the front of my house is in full bloom and it is glorious! Blooms are tiny and only last a few days but when it is in full flower the perfusion and generosity of the blooms makes my heart sing. #gardening 🌱
