This one. It's been with me a long time, I don't remember where I got it exactly.

Rectangular-shaped rock on a wooden surface. Its edges are smooth and polished, the overall colour is a pale blue with dark and lighter veins running through it. It is about 4cm long.

I had a look, there seem to be some articles in the "Gnome Help" program I've screenshotted: Might be helpful for you, don't know. The way I usually go about it myself is looking at what the package itself provides with apt-file, in this case I can see it's adding a gcm-picker tool amongst others.

Gnome Help window, in the 'Color management' (sic) section.

Three main headings are visible, "Color management" (sic), "Color profiles" (sic), and "Calibration".

The articles underneath cover topics such as "How do I assign profiles to devices?" and "How do I import color profiles?" (sic)

Poppy hunted and caught a leaf for me and set it up as an offering outside the (shut, for reasons) bedroom door! It's extra impressive because we live in a block of units and she's not an outside cat!

Brown leaf left on a towel set up outside a door; the door is currently ajar and has packing tape to protect it from scratches.

Poppy sits on a blanket on a blanket on the sofa, loafed up and looking at us. She has a black 'eyepatch' and a few orange splotches but is mostly white. There is a USB cable and a red light leading to the topmost blanket ... or is it plugged directly into her? Hard to tell.

Also, she is a cat.

When I was young, I made some half-finished QBasic 'games', and one time got scolded by the school librarian for 'playing games' on the library computer - so I made F12 bring up a wall of text that looked less game-like. Not quite a traditional 'boss key' but I didn't know of the concept back then.

"Boss Key" text of the game. It is rendered in a 80x43 text mode, white on black. Am I going to have to reproduce the entire text here? It's the description of the game, half-finished as it is, and how to play, written by my 14-year-old self.

Really kind of pissed at Greabox/Take Two/whomever for doing this to my Borderlands 2. Network play used to work perfectly, even with me playing with Windows buddies. Then at some point they decided to overhaul things, require this 'Shift' account BS, and broke cross-play.

It'll be too late. We'll be MMAcevedo'ing these things in Docker containers to drive our smart vacuum around. They're capable of imitating a conversation well enough to pass a turing test, at some point I assume we'll just be blasé about the whole thing, they won't be believed. qntm.org/mmacevedo
