To book a decent spot at a Disney Parade at Tokyo Disneyland, simply leave all your stuff on the ground a good couple of hours before the start time, go off and enjoy your day, then come back just as it's beginning. (Please don't try this at Disneyland Paris)
It was Donald's birthday while we were at Tokyo Disneyland which saw a new merch drop, the stans out in forces, and to meet the chap you'd be waiting up to 160 minutes!

Disneyland Paris' expanded World of Adventure is stunning, taking this runt of a park and turning it into a world class attraction. Wide thoroughfares, a huge lake hosting an intense evening light show, two new rides, a working swing bridge, new dining options, and, of course, the World of Frozen.
It was Erin’s birthday last week so I took her away for a couple of nights to a country hous in East Sussex. We went hiking, paddle boarding, did a couple of saunas, and had a hot tub by the lake. That’s a lot of outdoor activities for late March but I lucked out with the weather 💪☀️
Wandering through the frozen boulders of Diamond Beach, Iceland with the North Atlantic stretching into the distance behind them was captivating. It's the kind of epic, bleak beauty that Iceland specialises in and, despite it being very popular, is well worth a visit. Also, we saw a seal!

We are back from our trip to Iceland, in which many waterfalls were visited! Iceland has such a glorious landscape that you can skip the Must Sees and get places like Gluggafoss here to yourself. Personally, I much prefer the less spectacular but quieter (but actually still quite spectacular) ones
We’re back from a couple of days at Disneyland Paris where not only was it the last couple of days of Christmas, but it snowed! ⛄️ Walking around the park was super fun, as was getting blasted in the face by it while riding Big Thunder Mountain!
I still have one slightly delayed present left to arrive but just finished the rest of it and now I am ready to hunker down for the holidays!

New gear day! We are beginning the long, slow pivot to video and as part of that I have been doing a lot of shopping. Picked up the DJI Wireless Mic 2 and they sound fabulous, completely killed the echo in our rather echoey house.
On our most recent trip to Disneyland Paris we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel, right at the park entrance. The location is dynamite but so is the price* which raises the question: Is it worth it? We wrote a post that answers that very question: buff.ly/HdMvztt *in that it'll blow your budget

On our most recent trip to Sicily, there was 1 morning where the weather was clear enough for us to climb Etna (fig. 1) Except, of course, it couldn’t last (fig. 2). Still, if you’re going to get caught in a blizzard, do it on a mountain where the rocks are literally warm to the touch!

The 3’6 bar at Fortnum and Mason, Piccadilly has couches! It was also empty when it first opened at 12 and was the perfect spot to escape the crowds downstairs. It is a little pricey but tbh not outrageously so for London especially because couch. #london #fortnumandmason #espresso #martini
They even had the painting of his chair, which for some reason I had on my wall while growing up. Ngl it was emotional to see it up close.
We visited the Van Gogh Poets and Lovers at the National Gallery in London and it is excellent! If you’re a Van Gogh fan (otherwise known as a Goghpher*) in London it is worth the visit—some proper classics as well as a bunch of sketches and lesser known gems. * One to set the linguists off.
