There’s a local coffee and burrito truck that does pop ups, usually in their drive way, nearish my house. Being awoken early to the news today I was finally up soon enough to grab a chorizo and egg burrito as well as an iced cafe de ollo. Bonus ducklings.

To celebrate 7/11 we went to the local Japanese market and got dinner.

I’m making some shrimp rolls and pasta salad tomorrow for the 4th and then I’m done for a while. I love to cook but this week alone it’s been salmon, roasted carrots, creamy polenta. Fresh focaccia. Steak, mashed potatoes and mushroom sauce, roasted broccolini then this. About tapped out.

You know when you get that chunk of seasoning in a bag of Cheetos or Doritos? Well I got one in this bag of sour cream and onion chips. And it looks like a nugget of bud.
