Some stuff I doodled for an abandoned project. It was gonna be a jungle post apocalypse. I lifted Ogremen from here for my #allout apocalypse game, though I changed them a fair bit.
Going through an old sketchbook and posting some stuff I don't think I ever posted before.

Thank you!!! She's pretty sweet. A bit of a hooligan, but that's just dogs.
Drew some kind of half-baked uninspired Aragorn / Strider type figure while getting coffee with some former co-workers today. It was supposed to be a "get together and draw" thing, but was mostly a "get together and chat" thing. Still good.
It's foggy today because it's so warm. I stopped by the cemetery to take some pictures. It was visibility swirling in places which was pretty amazing to see. These pictures really don't do it any justice.
Because it's a space themed party, I bought some little foil packets and packed them with "astronaut rations" which the kids will earn through party games.
Everyone at home is feeling crummy today, but I rescued a neglected onion and feel good about it. Hopefully I can keep it going until spring and move it into the garden.
My wife pointed out we have a cracked rain barrel that might serve as the body of the ship. It's a bit chunkier than I imagined but I think it might be the move.
I'm now trying to decide if it's something you can sit inside or just like a big sonotube with fins and a cone top. Second is easier and cheaper, but being able to get your picture taken sitting inside would be pretty sick. And honestly, not that complex overall. Basically just sonotube and plywood.
I'm late to the party I'm sure, but I've just discovered these exist and I want to put them on literally everything. My god they're delicious.
I wrote a simple adventure outline for testing my vehicle combat rules for All Out Apocalypse and spent some time condensing them onto one page just for fun. I need to write all the vehicle stats still. (If you are a person with plans to test these rules with me soon, maybe don't read all the text)
Reading an article from my hometown newspaper and found this quote. Totoro WOULD say that!
Ahh, that police bot art is one of my faves!! I always liked the look of the chunky mace it was holding. My copy of "Star Wars - The Essential Guide To Droids" accompanied me on many a long car drive and summer afternoon as a kid (and happened to be within arm's reach on the shelf as I read this).
She came across a giant skeleton that needed to be controlled with her staff last night
Added a few more gnarly roots to the end of the staff and incorporated the screw-on base so we can turn it on and off without the orb falling out all the time. The whole works is gonna get a few coats of sealant once kiddo is happy with the design.
