Later in the "hoax" after a couple hours work, I've cleared about a quarter of the porch. The top of that heap is waist high on me so it's about 3.5 feet or about a meter. In fairness, that's fallen off my steeply pitched steel roof - it calves like a glacier- not fallen from the sky.
