the quaking aspen may be trying to fill my entire side yard with clones of itself but it casts beautiful shadows in the evening
the cats have systematically destroyed this wand toy but it just becomes more enticing to them the more raggedy it gets

invasives love getting all intertwined with plants you want to keep. there was some collateral damage to the raspberries in this bed, and they understandably retaliated.

I was able to dig up the pioneers around the fig and daffodils but the larger patches will require more firepower. and I need to get back into crouching shape.
