There's a way to organize software development without the "events" and wasteful rituals, without the estimates, the planning, the story points, the overruns, the Sprints, the constant reprioritizing. We call it time orientation. betacodex.org/white-papers... It's about time.
The word "leader" is similar to the word "Beetlejuice." Only that it's three time more powerful. Say it loud once (in earnest) and it will immediately summon the chaotic, mischievous ghost of command-and-control to the living world. The same happens with the word "leading".

Our relationship with time is messed up – we are suffering from the consequences, as individuals, teams, organizations and societies. In this new article, I talk about our estrangement from temporality in the realm of work, and 2 opposed conceptions of time we adhere to. nielspflaeging.substack.com

For a matter of fact, Sprints were always a very bad idea. Sprints should never have existed. When those "iterations" and "cadences" became the backbone of Agile, the agile movement was doomed. nielspflaeging.substack.com/p/sprints-we... Get rid of Sprints. Get to flow.
