I've had the new Huion Kamvas 22 gen 3 for a couple days now, I'm really liking it! I opted for this one instead of the pro model cuz it was half the price (and I'm coming from a 2012 cintiq anyways so it's all butter to me) here's some thoughts and pros/cons:

read a creepy one recently! It's called Negative Space by B. R. Yeager. Gets REALLY esoteric, got a somewhat unconventional storytelling device (three different concurrent first person perspectives), and it is BLEAK. Some real heavy stakes plus the cover is really rad

I'm reminded of my high school email inbox, for some reason

Saw this in theatres last night and it was REALLY good, highly recommend. Great cinematography, the concept was engaging as hell, and I found myself in the shoes of the main character pretty much right from the get go. Wild to see how good a video game movie can get

like, GOD! So much personality in this alone! They're always shoving the shy one to the back of the frame unless they're specifically making fun of her. Each one otherwise has their own distinct walk and body language

there are so many characters that they need to be good at that exact vibe

Ever heard of Shomuni (Power Office Girls)? Whoever the DP was went CRAZY! All the shots are so intentional and clever, the character acting has masterful levels of dedication, it's like a live action cartoon. I wish I could find more screenshots than these, you really have to see it to get it

I watched Send Help directed by Sam Raimi last night and it was fantastic. Doesn't try to be anything more than it needs to be, it's just having fun with the story it is and that makes it LOADS better than most movies out these days definitely, DEFINITELY worth a watch!

For me it was the Fraser River and the Thompson River which flows into the former Both would follow the highway up on the annual trip to my grandma's place. my family would go camping and fishing all up and down this river, it's where I really got an appreciation for nature :]
