Maybe he thought we couldn’t hear him through the curtain of prints cuz he couldn’t see us. Maybe he doesn’t know it’s rude to dunk on a show in earshot of an obvious fan artist. Maybe one of us shoulda jumpscared him & parted the curtain with a phone of screencaps. But we were busy making sales.
At our last convention some guy saw our Gwitch prints and started loudly deriding the series for being inadequate queer romance, telling the girl he was with “They don’t even hold hands!” Meanwhile, the show:
I am hyped for this. Can’t wait to see the new crew do their thing and probably vindicate Korra in some manner. Who now has a really hot older design. That line about Korra messing things up “long ago” makes me wonder if there was another weird long gap in perceived reincarnation.
Cue the usual gaslighting chorus of “Can’t female friends be affectionate without it being called gay!” but honestly the text and art combined with this little interview, I’d really encourage everybody to block trolls rather than engage, and just enjoy the gorgeous show we get to watch.

I think it is mean spirited to approach criticism via ragebait, which you admitted was intentional. I furthermore feel like “toxic gwitch fans” may be a bit of a euphemism for “any queer person who got annoyed when I purposely poked a sore spot many have from decades of homophobic gaslighting.”
