18. Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion (Switch, 2022) I've been curious about this one, and it was kinda awful LOL. I'm a huge FF7 fan, but this was kind of a chore to get through. And the story was HORRIBLE. Tetsuya Nomura at his worst. There's a whole plot point about apples? Glad it's done.
Tell me why my latest run of Star Fox had me misty-eyed 🥲 Peppy, Slippy and Falco survived the *entire* trip, AND I got a medal on the two hardest levels: Area 6 and Venom 2! This game is too good
17. Star Fox (Switch 2, 2026) My boys are back!!! An incredible remake of one of my favorite games. Yes, the new graphics and music are gorgeous, but the devs clearly care so much about Star Fox — its characters and its lore. So many fun cutscenes that deepen the relationships between the cast.

16. Donkey Kong 64 (N64, 1999) FINALLY beat this classic! I had a blast with this game — if only because NSO rewind stripped away all of the annoying aspects lol. Loved the Rare humor and seeing DK Country enemies in 3D. And somehow the water level was my favorite? And the DK rap slaps so hard.

15. Yoshi and the Mysterious Book (Switch 2, 2026) This game totally caught me by surprise! I thought it would be child's-first-platformer, but it's honestly one of the most original and clever games I've ever played. Every level is brimming with fun and new ways to interact with the world. Mlem!

14. Dragon Quest VII Reimagined (Switch 2, 2026) A very charming JRPG that goes on way, way, way, way, way too long. I was ready for the game to end about 15-20 hours ago lol. Just when you think it's over, it's not. But I'm glad I got to experience another Dragon Quest game!

13. Final Fantasy VII Remake (PS4, 2020) My first time replaying FFVII Remake — and this time on Switch 2! God, I love this world, these characters, the music, the story. It all means so much to me. I teared up several times when certain songs started. And now I'm ready for Rebirth!

11. Super Mario Galaxy (Wii, 2007) 12. Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii, 2010) Replayed both of these on the Switch 2 and had an amazing time! They are truly some of the best games ever made and the soundtrack is stellar. Also Bowser is a real weirdo in these games!!! I love him!
