Did you know the Hyatt Regency O'Hare used to have a pool? My guess is it disappeared in the mid '00s based on the last photo here. There aren't many other pictures of it online!

Update: Zero Day Initiative has downgraded the severity of the Telegram vulnerability to 7.0 -- indicating it is *not* remotely-exploitable. (www.zerodayinitiative.com/advisories/u...) Telegram has been claiming on Twitter that the vulnerability does not exist.
Did you have a source re: mitigation via disabling automatic downloads? Def a reasonable precaution, but curious if that is indeed the vector. I could imagine other methods like phone calls too. The CVSS page wasn't rendering the score for me, but does indeed appear to be zero-click, if accurate.
