Dreams come true at book camp. How will these come home with me? A prayer and hope to the book gods 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
You can say you are hot. I love my body and while we live in a society that is loving skinny bodies, all bodies are beautiful. There is no perfect body. Your body is living in a fucked up world, surviving. You deserve good things. You need food. Love your body.
@christin612.bsky.social and @stonewalldfl.bsky.social were at pride today hyping up DFL endorsed candidates and the important work that is done at all levels of government. The people love @repilhan.bsky.social so grateful for her leadership 🌈
Old navy, your targeted ad on Facebook got me in the middle of my high and thanks to super cash, I feel like it would have been a crime to not buy from your 2 day only sale. That is girl math.
So many of my friends will like Becoming Abolitionists by @derecka.bsky.social bc of how she connects the struggles. Purnell has a deep understanding of intersectionality and how we all must lift the tide for us. Give this book a read if you are also struggling with policing #booksky #leftist
Friendship stories are my favorite type of stories and this is one is so millennial. We deserve a book like this and I hope we get more like this. Friends grow and change. I enjoyed this and if you enjoy imperfect people who try, you may like this too #booksky @grantginder.bsky.social
I had a reading day where I finished three books 📚 #booksky I cried with these two books. #isabelklee wrote a love story to dogs, boys, and friends. I felt the friend dynamics and the love of longtime friends. I went to Alaska for a love story set in 1885.
An intriguing read. A letter from a daughter to her mother over her complicated childhood and abuse. This is a heavy read and I could not stop #booksky #booktrec @prachigu.bsky.social
@jasondeleon.bsky.social wrote a fascinating book about smugglers and humanized them. The choices they have are difficult but nothing about this immigration discussion is black and white. León takes a different perspective & one that is missing. A must read.
@kevinmnye.bsky.social wrote a beautiful book that I think everyone should read bc we can end homelessness. I learned so much about what programs are doing but it starts with housing. Kevin is in conversation with so many organizations doing this work & highlights how churches can adapt 5⭐️ #booksky
