About a mile from my house, but we never feel the itty bitty ones. Plus, I was outside.
Thank you for being there. I lost both of mine within two months to two different kinds of cancer. Was there with them and did in-home end of life. I cried every day for two months. Now I smile more than cry, and am thinking of adopting again, but I’ll never forget them. They love unconditionally.
These people as the one in the Facebook comments represent the worst of America. Hoping Noreen gets some fast karma for her callous remarks. I wish that we could deport all of THESE people.

It is Spring in Northern California and the baby Cross Orb Weaver spiders have set up residency on my deck. i usually only see them in fall. It will be interesting watching them as I am immobile after foot surgery.

Someone online posted that this drug may be the source of his IV treatments and the bruises on both hands. MRIs are required to monitor whether or not there is brain swelling. Sounds plausible.
Making pepper sauce with the last of the spicy peppers. Using my Bolivian Rocoto variety, which makes an excellent hot sauce, and one I got from the farmers market that was purple, but has reddened with maturity. The second photo is how it looks after two years in the fridge,and still delicious.
Took my dog to vet today for what I thought was a broken tooth that had accessed, and found out that she has an aggressive form of oral malignant melanoma. This is my younger of the two. I am still a bit in shock. We are going for a different walk and adventure every day til I have to say goodbye.
