I watched He-Man on Prime and really enjoyed it. Skeletor had his trademark humor, the familiar characters were all there, and the villains seemed genuinely dangerous, just terrified of Skeletor.

Fingers crossed he keeps it episodic, a new monster, mystery, or adventure every week. I’m really excited for this.

I preordered this bad boy. I’ll always have a soft spot for the original, even if it’s a tough watch these days. This version does a great job fleshing out the story, the characters feel true to themselves, and I even enjoyed Skeletor’s brief origin story.

I’m a few issues into Escape and it feels like Blacksad meets Memphis Belle and Inglourious Basterds. Every victory for the characters feels temporary, and that constant tension makes it hard to put down.
