Thought I'd take a stab at a "season in review" of stats for the Vols basketball team. Some takeaways: Ja'Kobi Gillespie quietly had a stellar season and broke a record. Nate Ament probably had the best freshman season by a Vol since Allan Houston. Vols as a team broke tons of rebounding records
The Vols won their 25th game of the season last night, which means 7 of the program’s 10 seasons with 25+ wins have come with Rick Barnes as head coach. 15 of the program's 34 NCAA Tournament wins (44%) have come under Barnes as well.

For the 5th straight season, Tennessee men's basketball has won 20 or more games in a season. That ties the program record for most consecutive 20-win seasons. More than anything, Rick Barnes has brought consistency to a program that had very little of that for many decades.
