Who robbed the Louvre? Right answers only.

Old ticket that says, "this ticket entitles (name, written in nice cursive) to a sight of the British Museum at the hour of one on Wednesday the 3rd of March 1790. No money is to be given to servants. This ticket has been prepared by illegible name."

Date, name, and prepared by are all handwritten. Going to the museum seems like a bigger deal than now. Also, if it was stolen, guess the British Museum did it. Easy win.

Sitting on the couch, holding my dying cat like a baby so I can blow acapulco gold smoke on her face. As one does. Vet is coming Tues, but I hope she doesn't linger that long. So far, she's not in distress. Me, OTOH... She is Syd, queen of the High Stepping Activity Bundles, first of her name.

Colorful, ornately decorated tomb at Smithsonian magazine. Text says, "Archaeologists Discover Intricately Decorated Tomb Belonging to a Doctor Who..." Among the wall paintings are many horizontal rectangles in a color close to TARDIS blue, which could be seen as coffins.

While the idea that an elite was conspiring to orchestrate mass immigration for political gain at the ballot box was mostly confined to the white supremacist racist far right for decades, in recent years “great replacement”-style conspiracy theories such as this have increasingly been voiced by mainstream conservatives and Republicans.

He's in his black tshirt (has he changed it in the last month?) and pontificating about cutting off Ebola prevention or something. A number of cabinet members are looking vaguely in his direction (but not at him) while, at the right edge of the photo, framed by a US flag and a Presidential flag, Trump slumps forward, chin on chest, seemingly sound asleep. Nobody seems to notice.

But that focus on the candidates’ elder status distracts us from a seismic issue that should really merit our attention: the historic surge in Americans who will be turning 65 over the next five years. Over the past decade, a steady cadence of 10,000 people a day were turning 65.

By the end of 2025, close to 12,000 people a day will turn 65 for the next two years.
