Hubs and I were out of state for almost 2 wks and my frigging yard/garden turned into a jungle! My sunflowers went from about 5ft to almost 8ft, my lemonbalm went feral again and I got to eat my first cukes of the year from my yard😁😬

My dude asked for homemade gluten free egg noodles and since I felt like playing in the kitchen, I did it and this batch turned out even better! I had to substitute millet for corn and tapioca starch for potato starch…. But the texture is wonderful-recipe compliments of The Loopy Whisk.

Horseradish pesto with roasted garlic, pecans, fresh Parmesan and oil….lots of salt. It turned out prettier this time…. Pasta today to munch!!

This is what I looked for in the store-pale or greenish is best-our store ginger is pretty rough and rarely green on the tips.

#StayReadyCrew if you use a lot of ginger and want to try growing your own. This is storebought and not organic. The best way I’ve tried for sprouting ginger.Short jar with a small amount of water in the base. Rinse by swirling fresh water at least every other day and use fresh water-under lights

Do not recommend the texture of just sautéed in butter-too chewy and the flavor didn’t shine. One leaf chunk went into my pasta to boil and the leaf was tender and tasty-boiling is the route for me
