Our analysis identified several factors affecting women's risk of going to hospital in an emergency in the year after giving birth in England. Especially notable was the relationship with having a mental health diagnosis. Read the report: buff.ly/f9lvOLD

Our new analysis suggests women's postnatal experiences could be improved through better preventive care. Each health condition we studied was associated with a higher risk of a postnatal emergency care contact, with the risk greatest before and during pregnancy. Read the report: buff.ly/y1df9pP
