Disco Biscuits tribute band, Basis for a Disco, called off an upcoming Northeast run after guitarist Ron Sharver broke his wrist, while reportedly penning a diss track that served no verified purpose. Additionally, the band's drummer was unharmed in the incident.
The Egg in Albany reopened with a ribbon cutting ceremony today and reception this evening. The venue never looked so good!

The historic NYS venue has seen the likes of vaudeville acts, Buffalo Bill, General Tom Thumb, Mark Twain, Ominous Seapods, Quiet Riot, Turkuaz, Eastbound Jesus, Playhouse Stage performances, high school musicals and hundreds of other artists in the past century and a half.
Celebrating 150 years, Cohoes Music Hall staged a reading of 'London Assurance' today, recalling the first ever performance at the venue on November 23, 1874!
