#watercolor today: painted yesterday's veggie harvest & abstract play with the grandsons.
#urbansketching Massively crunked my shoulder today in the garden, so off to Urgent Care, so I sketched the stuff on the counter, from the photo I took since we got in and out super fast.
#caturday #4th #fiberarts #spinningyarn Mayhem snoring in my lap... While making chainette yarn
#UrbanGardening Had a rather ugly graden bed patch that had a nice hydrangea bush in it. So we put 6 2 ft x 1ft round beds and flagstones for safety and aesthetics.
#UrbanFarmReport #urbangardening First veggie harvest! 1 Midnight snack cherry 🍅 1 sweet banana 🌶 1 yellow Zucchini 4 stalks of baby celery
Got out to #TryonCreekNatureCenter and #SaltandStraw with family today. Beautiful day.
#watercolor #urbansketching From an old photo of mine from Spirits of Iron sculpture park near Elbe, WA.
Few days off, enjoying the ability to breathe. Granddaughter is visiting, so that's fun too. Got out to build and install my garden arch, cheap but fulfills my need for a place to train the graprvine to.
A #watercolor of a photo I took 20ish years ago. I need to work on saturating my colors.
Half workday, then crafting: Pixelated brick art & hubby's birthday present, an #amigurumi lemon from and old comic we love.
Photo from a hotel room at SW Oak & 6th in Portland Oregon. #urbansketching
#UrbanGardening I already have tomatoes and a pepper coming on! I also have healthy cauliflower & celery plants. Tiny teeny broccoli sprouts are healthy so far. Cukes & zukes don't have blossoms yet, but the plants appear robust.
#urbansketching - Stravaganza I went to a meetup outside work in a beautiful park on a gorgeous day.
#urbansketching Tuned up this funky tree drawing. Laurelwood Park, Portland Oregon
Very stressful week, did avoid Grand Jury duty. I wanted to for a change of pace and I thought it would be interesting. But eldest grandkid's coming for a visit and I didn't want to miss that. So today was a painting day. #urbansketching of Uncommon Objects, Austin TX, from a May 2012 photo I took.
Rough week. One of our kitties, Riddick, is probably dying. He's our eldest's cat x11 years. They also found out that their online classes have not been designated as for a degree. One of the grands has strep. I'm incredibly stressed at work. & I've been tapped for possible grand jury duty.
