I’d literally just taken a photo of my cat, as it look like he is recharging after his little morning stroll.
Our fluffy shadow was *really* black. He had a habit of making “Batman ears” with shadows. I don’t miss getting bitten slowly & deliberately for no reason, but afterwards he always snuggled & slept happily with massive slow blink kisses. That was Ziggy, bit of an asshole but overall a good kitty

Every time I tried to grow veggies, they’d get destroyed by slugs & snails. Chickens solved that problem! Most food scraps go to the chickens. Egg shells from their amazing eggs? Chickens. Their poo does wonders in the compost. My lawn is utterly destroyed, but can’t win them all I guess!
