Currently redesigning Blackthorn for his BBEG era. My first drawing of him (ca. 2023) versus my most recent drawing of him (ca. two days ago). #CharacterDesign #Art #OC #DnD

My earliest design for Blackthorn, a somewhat haggard looking eleven man with pale skin, yellow eyes, black hair, and barely visible scars. The rendering is a little clunky and his facial folds are a mess, but he's smiling through it.

Blackthorn as he was always meant to be: scarred to holy hell and sneering down at the viewer. His scars now dominate his right side of his face, into his scalp (where no hair grows), and extend to his diminished ear. He's still got his creepy yellow eyes and disheveled black hair. The rendering quality has improved pretty significantly? I dunno, you be the judge of that.

Congrats, and thanks for hosting! Thea is my College of Whispers Bard/Assassin Rogue, whom I started playing in my very first campaign two years ago. She is the Royal High Spymistress of Cormyr, a Harper, and a then vampire spawn who annihilated Mephistopheles with Blackrazor (a soul-eating rapier).

Their bot doesn't even know what artistic nudity is, apparently. I've had this moderation setting toggled to "show" for as long as I can remember, and totally innocuous art and photos (e.g., figure studies, gym selfies, etc.) get miscategorized as sexually explicit content. Meanwhile, untagged gore?

My first ever digital artwork, from 2023, of my friend's #DnD character Nathbaste Baenre. It'll make for a fun baseline comparison whenever I finish one of my million WIPs. 😅
