In the chill of the night At the heat of a crime With a streak of light He arrives every time. Let’s do this. My first theatrical Spider-Man.
Happy birthday to an incredible friend and, no holds barred, the greatest competitor ever to grace the Epic Confrontations* stage, @thescottjayro.bsky.social! *strictly in the opinion of myself, not as a commissioner or of The League™️.
Look, say what you want about Aaron Sorkin’s work as a whole, but he cooked with this:
I've seen a lot of discussion, not just about THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU, but about Star Wars as a fandom, and I STILL think that the metaconversation about having a better discussion about these things that we love is so crucial. I understand that it may be naive to believe that such a shift...
In August, the great @charlessoule.bsky.social is bringing us THE FALL OF KYLO REN. Hell. Yeah. Massive fan of LEGACY OF VADER, even bigger fan of RISE OF KYLO REN, and just a generally a huge fan of everything Soule does in that galaxy far, far away (and 8 Billion Genies! That rocks too!).
Got a great stash today at my local(-ish) shop for FCBD/Comic Giveaway Day/Whatever the fuck we’re calling it now!
Happy birthday to the great @starwarsexplained.com! Thanks for all you do in the fandom! SWE is a de facto institution because of everything you and Mollie have done.
Great pick! I made a list that I shared with some friends yesterday of who I'd like to see
If you start Season 2, Episode 12 of STAR WARS: RESISTANCE, "The Missing Agent", at 11:45:08 PM, Ax Tagrin will unmask at midnight.
If you start the final episode of SKELETON CREW, "The Real Good Guys", at 11:29:31 PM, B-wings will ignite their focusing lasers at midnight.
If you start A NEW HOPE at 10:30:47 PM, Luke and Leia will swing across a trench of the Death Star at midnight.
If you start the final episode of YOUNG JEDI ADVENTURES Season 3, "Making Friends" at 11:36:50 PM, you will witness a grown-up Nubs pulling his friends Kai Brightstar and Lys Solay into a giant hug at midnight.
All across the socials I'm seeing people upset about THE ODYSSEY and AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY trailers. Alright. That's OK. What movies are people EXCITED about in 2026? To me, that's the more interesting conversation. I'll go first.
I’m obviously thrilled that Casey Hudson is back, but if they really wanna seal the deal on my excitement, they gotta get my GOAT back.
But seriously, worth a watch. I loved this show, and I hope we'll get more like it in the future from Lucasfilm.
Soon, I will be putting together my viewing order for the series if you wanna get the essential story, but don't feel like watching all fifty-five episodes of this show made for five-year-olds like some people I know did.
Their characters are so rich and have so much potential in more mature Star Wars storytelling, and I hope the opportunities to include them are seized.
I deeply hope that we will see grown-up versions of Kai Brightstar, Nubs, Lys Solay, Nash Durango, Cyrus Vuundir, and Rek Minuu in future Star Wars stories, as well as their already grown-up supporting characters like Wes Vinik, Carver Drow, Celesta Kami, and Zia Zaldor Zanna.
I just finished the final episode of STAR WARS: YOUNG JEDI ADVENTURES. Such a wonderful series for all of the Younglings in our lives to grow up with. Full of great lessons about caring for those around you, thinking before acting, and making the next good choice.
