Finished V. by Thomas Pynchon… a truly remarkable first novel, written when he was just 26 years old. Sickening in some ways. All the quirks are there: historic/folkloric fantasies, spy stories, blaggards, schlemiels and more.
I mean, I get it, but this is kind of a funny take since it’s one of the most perfect days of the year in the Northeast today… these guys don’t need to be playing in air conditioning
