🌱 Our hibiscus is about a week early this year, but I'm not complaining

🌱 Potting bench is ready. Monstera and ZZ plants getting too much sun while we wait for new containers to arrive.

Monstera aka Swiss cheese plant about to be repotted. Monstera is a great houseplant. It looks dramatic, grows slowly, needs little light, and you honestly have to *try* to kill it.

ZZ plant long stems with rows of oval leaves waiting to be repotted. Easy care plant likes bright indirect light and only needs watering every 2 weeks or so.

🌱 2 years ago, with great sadness, I said goodbye to one of my favorite blooms - blue-veined petunias. We enjoyed them every year for 10 years, but rampant botrytis was killing them off. Last year a few came back anyway. Then this year SURPRISE!!

Cleaning bathroom drawer and found tube of Clearasil that expired in 2003. Millions of human beings have been born, grown, had their own bad skin, lost their virginity, gone to college, and started a family since then. Not sure how to feel about it

When Mr Grace was left on our stoop, he was all skin & bones and so young he had no teeth yet. Today we buried 16 year old Gracie. We've taken in many animals over the years. Losing them never gets easier 😢
