Frightening really. Vancouver Island is always balmy compared to rest of Canada but this year I had a poppy grow in October, bloom 1st at end of November and then twice more in December!
Perhaps 1000 marched through downtown Victoria, drumming and chanting. Didn’t notice any counter protests and police were chill & helpful. A great day!
