I love talking about writing and art, both yours and mine. Love horror, sci-fi and fantasy. Dedicated pagan and witch. CAPSLOCK IS MY LOVE LANGUAGE.
Beautiful petunia! Here’s some I loved around my neck of the woods:
That zoo should go out of business if a lioness can *bend the bars* to stick her head through.
Time for some light reading. Getting pumped for the game I’m running for my partners, set in good ole Rose City. Fun lore: Always had a Toreador Prince. I mean, c’mon.
We don’t usually see each other’s headers. Here’s mine. I took that picture at Depot Bay, Oregon; I’m proud of it for being off my phone. Quote-skeet with yours, I’d love to see it!
Came home to this in my bed and I’m puzzled. Is hubs challenging me to a duel?
I used to be unable to take pics of myself, or really even look at myself. Amazing what affirming care can do.
I made this little pouch to hold my runes! This is a hand dyed yarn from the Yarn Cabin in Bemidji, MN. I absolutely love her colorways and it feels like a luxury to work with. Also the first time I just winged it without a pattern.
BAM, holy shit! I’ve been dreaming about this animal for MONTHS, and picturing it during familiar work. Look at this lil badass:
Damn. I really know how to surround myself with straight-up badassery. This is the first time I've really put effort into social media, and I'm really delighted with the interactions I've had here. I hope to interact with more of you!
I can’t beat the view from here. In the distance is Wy’east, also called Mt Hood. There is some debate on whether Wy’east was even an indigenous name; our local tribes had many different names for the mountain.
I love to “hook” blessings and prayers into my crochet. Prayer+devotional+meditative, it’s wins all over! I’m making a ritual bag out of tshirt yarn.
What a beaut! Makes me miss our baby, JJ. I knew him from the moment he was born, as well as his mom. They were phenomenal spirits.
Speaking of great places like the PNW, here in Portland we don’t fuck around when it comes to our witchy stores. Here’s my favorite: Through the Veil in Hillsboro. This place is more than just a shop; it forges community as well.
Bless the Maker and His water. Bless the coming and going of Him. May His passage cleanse the world. May He keep the world for His people.
Quote this with the first horror movie that had you fucked up. (First one I ever saw in theaters, only recently really got into watching horror. Scared me so bad I threw up.) #horrorsky
Today’s card is from the Wildwood deck: The Stag. Correlates to the Strength card in deck position. I love this card, and it made me reflect on our relationship with nature, especially right now. The Stag reminds us that nature has a sense of justice.
