Seonghwa had always been handsome, had always dressed well, but Mingi was not prepared for the sight that awaited him when he and Wooyoung joined the others at the table. Wine coloured hair falling perfectly around a familiar, gorgeous face, eyes lined with smoked out eyshadow and strategically placed shimmer. Silver necklaces that stood out brightly against his tan skin, matching the silver threads running through the low cut, semi transparent black blouse he was wearing. It really was unfair how much more beautiful he had become in only a year, Mingi thought.

Mh, are you good with tequila?", Hongjoong asked, then immediately went to order when Mingi nodded. Soon after the bartender handed them two full shot glasses with lemon slices on top and the salt shaker. When Mingi reached for the latter, Hongjoong stopped him with a tut, taking it himself instead.

"I've got it, princess".

He smiled that smile again, the one that Mingi was quickly learning meant he was up to something. The taller man watched with rapt attention as Hongjoong poured a little salt on his hand, then held it out towards Mingi's face, careful not to spill it.

"Here you go", he said with a grin and Mingi felt his cheeks heat up.

It was undeniable now, he was indeed being flirted with and heavily so and it made his stomach flutter with excitement for what the rest of the night might bring. He took a small breath and the leaned his head down slightly to lick the salt off of Hongjoong's hand, lingering for a bit longer than necessary and seeking eye contact. His little display earned him a satisfied hum and another grin that made his stomach flip in the best way.
Hongjoong's hand moved to grab his chin, thumb swiping over Mingi's plush bottom lip appreciatively.

"Such a pretty mouth", he murmured, then pulled his hand away to hand Mingi his shot glass.

"You can take a closer look, if you'd like", the merman suddenly called out, flashing a grin in the direction of where Hongjoong was hiding behind the cliffs.

The researcher felt heat rise in his cheeks and almost dropped his clipboard. He'd been so sure that he'd picked a good hiding spot; not wanting to disturb but needing to be close enough to get meaningful data from his observations. Originally he hadn't even meant to witness the three mermen mating on the beach, he had just hoped to catch any glance of merfolk at all. But then once they'd started there hadn't exactly been a chance to slip away unnoticed and as perverted as he had felt watching two of them rail the third one to incoherency, his curiosity and dick had demanded satisfaction. The former had gotten its fill with the six pages of notes he'd been able to take on courting behaviour and mating positions, plus the glimpses of their anatomy he'd gotten. The latter was still straining against his underwear and tenting the shorts he was wearing.
