On local Nextdoor site, woman found small stray, hungry with bad eye infection. No money for vet, worried about Felv so kept cat in garage. I'm retired on SS but offered to pay vet.She sent pics. She named him Friendly, he's gained 4 lbs & has a forever home now. Every small act helps
In my bedroom around 11 pm. My cat suddenly gets animated. Look out the window & a stray cat I had been feeding daily was sitting on outside windowsill looking in. I was shocked. It was at least a 6 ft jump. I got up, shut bedroom door (my kitty not social) let him in & fed him.
They're selling Fetterman t-shirts in PA. He betrayed everyone who voted for him. That stroke did more damage than we know
Update. A woman offered to foster him provided he was tested for FeLV, etc. I offered to pay for testing. They named him Friendly and here he is, settled into a nice warm home being fed, loved & cared for instead of trying to survive on the streets. Neighbors working together
Never done this before. Precious cat in PG County, MD living on streets. Just TNR'D but putting him back out on street even with eye infection. I can't take him in but will pay for his care. Needs antibiotics. Can't believe they are doing this. Need temp housing til I can find more permanent home
Beautiful animals. For years I had deer coming to my back yard. I fed him one day & came back his buddies. Got to a point they would wait for me to bring out food. Can't imagine anyone wanting to hunt these beautiful creatures

I had one constantly coming to my back yard. I used to put fruit out in the summer & deer feed during the winter. The day after I fed him he showed up with 4 of his friends. For yrs I fed them until I had to move. He actually would come right up to my back porch at night & wait for me. I miss them
Sometimes they just pick you out! Milo settling into his new home. Son driving home from FL,stopped @ truck stop.Milo was scrounging for food,followed my son to his car.Then jumped out & ran up a tree. Son waited 2 hrs for animal rescue who took him. He went back 2 wks later & got him.
Not losing our democracy, we have already lost it.The "wanna be dictator" emboldened & abetted by the spineless GOP, a Cabinet just as ruthless, amoral, as ant-democratic as he is & a Supreme Court who is letting him trample on our Constitution and our rights. God Save America
