Today in class a kid asked me about my Miku sticker on my folder, and I was very confused (as I do not have anything Miku-related). Then I flipped over the folder and realized they were asking about Sailor Moon. 💀 …Anyway, Happy belated 34th birthday to my favorite 90s girl!

LAST YEAR, I STARTED A JOB TO HELP KIDS WITH CREATIVE WRITING.

EACH WEEK, I GO INTO DIFFERENT CLASSROOMS, AND WITH AN ASSORTMENT OF FUN PROMPTS, GUIDE YOUNG WRITERS TO CRAFT THEIR STORIES, POEMS, AND COMICS.

IT CAN BE CHALLENGING
SOMETIMES, BUT IT'S IMMENSELY REWARDING SEEING THEIR IDEAS COME TO LIFE..

AND SINCE I'M
WORKING WITH KIDS, THERE'S THE "ADULT IN THE ROOM" TRAINING:
CPR, MANDATED REPORTING...

... AND ACTIVE SHOOTER DRILLS.

I HAVEN'T BEEN IN SCHOOL SINCE I WAS A KID.

EXPERIENCING AN ACTIVE SHOOTER DRILL FOR THE FIRST TIME FEELS...BLEAK.

SYMPTOMS INSTEAD OF TREATING THE ROOT CAUSE.

DURING OUR SUMMER TRAINING BEFORE WE STARTED CLASSES, WE HAD WORD OF ICE ACTIVITY IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD, AND DECIDED TO CLOSE AND EVACUATE THE CAMPUS.

I RAN ACROSS THE STREET TO TELL OUR NEIGHBORS, A SMALL CAR DEALERSHIP.

WE EVENTUALLY FOUND OUT IT WAS A FALSE ALARM.

Making this #BINGOal board last year was actually a game changer for me in 2025. I spend most NYEs feeling like I’ve accomplished nothing, but having goals to tangibly cross out throughout the year was fun rather than depressing (even if I didn’t get a bingo).

It’s the last day of #ECCC! I’m completely sold out of Chapter 2 of The Substitutes, but still have two copies left of Chapter 1! I also have sold out of a few of my BG3 stickers, but if you’re okay with a wonky cut or some odd colors, there might be a few in my misprint stickers box!

Day 2 of ECCC is over! I’m out of the big BG3 prints but I still have small ones. Also doing a run of some small OFMD prints for tomorrow but it’ll be a limited amount, so please grab them if you haven’t already! (Yes I drew this on my phone because I was too tired to get my tablet.)
